July 25, 2016

Report of domestic disturbance on Highway 246 East near Vandervoort. Deputies responded. One of the parties left the residence for the night.

Report from complainant on Polk 136 near Cove of the theft of a personal document. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Polk 74 near the Ink community of a missing prescription.

Arrested was Billy R. Powell, 34, of Mena, on a Warrant for Violation of Suspended Imposition of Sentence.

Arrested was Nathaniel A. Riley, 33, of Mena, on Warrants for Absconding and two counts of Failure to Appear.

July 26, 2016

Arrested was Larry J. Black, 64, of Mena, on a Warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrested was Jason E. Tomblin, 38, of Mena, on a Charge of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License. Also arrested was Melissa D. Turpin, 41, of Hatfield, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

Report from Cossatot River School District of two separate incidences of break-ins, vandalism and thefts at the Wickes Elementary Campus. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on South 2nd Street in Cove of damage to their yard done by an unknown vehicle. Investigation continues.

July 30, 2016

Report of threats made toward individuals by a Polk County person. Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Polk 40 near the Potter community of forged checks, totaling losses at $325.00. Investigation continues.

Traffic stop on Highway 71 South near Cove led to the arrest of Elijah L. Webre, 35, on a Charge of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Polk 41 North near the Shady Grove community. Complainant refused to press charges. Arrested was Jessica D. McMellon, 27, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with Court Order.
